Here is some info on the
4B 4x4 Farm Run
I saw your website
and thought I would tell you about our upcoming 4X4 run in case your
club members might be interested in attending.
We have been doing these runs for the past 6 years on approximately
1500 acres located in Comanche County which is about 65 miles from
Abilene. Trails range from moderate to very extreme. This will be
our third run for this year and the last one until the weather cools
off in the fall. We hopefully will do another run in late September
or early October.
I
am attaching information and application/release forms for your
consideration. If you have any questions, please feel free to call
Gerald or Nina at 817-579-7754 or 817-219-4152.

10 May 05 - Monthly
Meeting Notes.
Well for those of you who couldn't make the
meeting, here is the recap of it. I (Kayla) started the meeting off
welcoming everyone. Then we discussed the T-shirts and we have decided that
the shirts are going to be $12 for members and $15 for non-members. We have
also decided not to put any of the so called sponsors, because I called to
see if they would be willing to help with the shirts and we would advertise
for them and every one of them told me NO! (Except for Sign Pro and they
just haven't called me back). Next we discussed fundraising ideas and we got
a good response. I am going to set a date in April for a car wash. Thanks to
Jerry we can have one. We are going to use his 300 gallon water tank. I
called the city again and even after all the rain they still won't let us
have one. And a BIG thanks to Aleasha, she has offered for us to use her
yard to do our garage sale. Now we just need people from the club to start
donating stuff for it. I also just want to remind everyone whatever is
donated goes directly to the club. There was also discussion of a Pampered
Chef fundraiser, but I think we are going to just leave that up to the women
in the club. There will be more discussion on that later. And the last
thing, we are going to schedule a fundraiser at a gas station and pump and
wash windows and we will probably go ahead and set up a table for a bake
sale as well. I will have more details closer to the summer. Just a quick
reminder, there are going to be workdays in Aspermont on March 19th and
20th. We need to make this a priority and go and help these guys out for
letting us use their land. That concluded our meeting. Once again I want to
thank everyone that made it.
Other Dates: In April 1st Club only- night run (4X4 & More at Post)

9th Post run
14th monthly meeting Hope to see you there!

Feb 05 - Monthly Meeting notes.
Ok, for those of you that didn't make the meeting, here is the recap of it.
Mike started the meeting by introducing new member Jarrod Modrall. Welcome
to the club Jarrod. He also discussed Aspermont and Post work days. We would
like as many people as possible to go to these and show our support for them
letting us use their land. Also, if anyone is interested in any decals, get
with Don Frazier. He will be cutting the vinyl while Mike is gone. We also
discussed more fundraising ideas. So if you have any please let us know.
This is what we have so far: car washes with burger burns, a club garage
sale, and another Pampered Chef fundraiser. We would love any input on
these. If you have anything else, please let us know. We are also looking at
more land options. We discussed Cisco at our last meeting. We are also
looking into some off of highway 36. For all you guys that are wanting to do
some tubing on your vehicle, when Mike gets back (if I heard him right) he
is going to get a tubing bender. So, have your ideas ready for him when he
returns. Well, that's it. Once again Mike and I would like to thank everyone
that came. Hope to see even more of you at the next meeting.

5 Feb 05- We had another mud run at Rocky Point. After all we had to test out the new tranny in the Dawg. All went well. We had a visitor out there that was saying that we were 5 minutes late. He was stuck and had to get his wife to get him out. His name was Mario and he was driving the yellow Jeep you see in the pics. Anyway we all had a blast! Click here for the pics we took.

29 Jan 05 - We had our
Mud run out at Rocky Point and every one had a blast. There was just enough
rain to make everything slick. The place with the best mud had a hard bottom
so it made even more fun because you could gain some speed in it. There were
7 or 8 of us total. There was only 1 causality. Don and the MuddDawg bit the
big one. The tranny decided to take a load off and refused to pump any vital
fluids. Needless to say the Toyota wasn't going anywhere, and had to be
towed out. All in all Well worth the cost of the Car Wash =)
Here are the
pics we have so far
Don't forget about
our monthly meeting the 10'th of February at the Golden Corral. Looking
forward to seeing everyone there!
Look for site changes soon. I will try to
make this a little more user friendly. I have already added a function that
will allow you to send in
Member rig changes. Please note that they will take a day or so to show
up.
